Recent Project: Iliana's Quinceanera Invitations

When I received a message about Iliana's Quinceañera, she already had a clear vision of what she had in mind. As a designer, that's always a great starting point. She had a particular dress she wanted but in different colors. It took some time for me to track down the original artist who created the design and purchased the rights, but I eventually succeeded.

The suite consisted of the invitation, a matching response card, and printed envelopes. Iliana decided on a lovely shade of purple and wanted to incorporate some glittery accents to add that extra sparkle.

I'm wishing for her event to be everything she's ever dreamed of.

Recent Project: Collaborating with Nicole and her team at Alpha Phi at Alabama University was awesome. If you're familiar with the #bamarush videos on TikTok or have seen any documentaries, this project was for the Bid Rush.

What is #bamarush? Bama Rush is the informal name for the recruitment process at the University of Alabama, where students hope to secure a bid from the participating sorority of their choosing after a series of "rush" events.

My task for this project involved designing three distinct banners to complement their themed events. The initial banner captured the essence of "Ivy League," followed by a design inspired by the "Space Jam" logo, and culminated with an energetic 80s theme banner titled "Girls Just Wanna Go Greek."

When I opened up my TikTok and Instagram I was blown away by how awesome their dances were, and what a great job they did putting everything together.

Prepare for a blast from the past as we dig up this classic gem—a 10th Birthday Party extravaganza featuring none other than a Video Game truck parked right in front of our house! We transformed the entire place into a virtual wonderland, decking it out with everything video game-related. The colors of choice? The iconic Xbox hues of vibrant lime green and sleek black. But here's the twist—we didn't limit ourselves to the modern gaming era. Oh no, we took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, incorporating beloved characters from the 1970s all the way up to today.

Now, let's talk about the invitations. We went all out, crafting unique DVD Case Invitations that resembled Xbox games, complete with a mini CD inside. Oh, the excitement it generated! But that was just the beginning. Our decorating spree knew no bounds. We had a jaw-dropping banner showcasing funky android characters straight out of the 1970s. It was like stepping into a time machine!

We even went the extra mile, jazzing up water bottles and drink cups with themed wraps. Signs guided guests through the epic gaming realm, and VIP passes elevated the experience to new heights. Cupcake toppers added a whimsical touch, while treat boxes ensured nobody left empty-handed.
