GOALS
THE NEW VISION

GALLERIES

  • Create 12 unique galleries, each with themes on coping skills, mental health resources, and engaging activities.

  • Design each gallery with vinyl wraps or hand-painted by me, featuring my doodling and zentangle designs—effective coping skills I use to manage stress and anxiety.

  • Ensure galleries are self-standing and moveable, allowing for easy relocation without environmental damage.

VOLUNTEERS

  • Assemble a dedicated team of volunteers to build the galleries and run community events.

  • Foster a sense of community and shared purpose through volunteer involvement.​

 

CURATE ARTWORK

 

  • Select and display submitted artwork that inspires, comforts, and evokes emotion.

INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS

  • Create rack cards and brochures for each gallery, housed in an acrylic weatherproof holder.

  • Provide essential information about mental health resources and the gallery theme.

  • Include a QR code map for an artistic journey through Greater Cleveland to visit other galleries.

  • Maintain a website and social media presence for the project.​

 

COMMUNITY PROJECT

  • Host events where people can create art and learn about available mental health services.

  • Provide creative outlets and educational opportunities through these events​

 

SECONDARY PROJECT

 

  • With attendees' permission, conduct a portrait project capturing individual faces.

  • Include a hashtag and create a mosaic of all faces.

  • Each face, when clicked on website, will share a personal story or quote about their mental health experience and how they overcame or are working on it, adding a personal touch and humanizing the issue.

ART SUPPLIES

  • Provide mini art kits for visitors to create their own art and share with others.

  • Kits will include basic art supplies and materials to encourage creativity and participation.​

 

GUESTBOOK

  • Place a guestbook in a small mailbox affixed to each gallery's post.

  • Allow visitors to leave messages, share thoughts, and connect with others.

LOCATION

  • Choose high-traffic locations to maximize visibility and impact.

  • Partner with local organizations and businesses to oversee the galleries and manage supply replenishment.​
